Dvr. James MacDonald Stewart

Dvr. James MacDonald, formerly of the Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) served with HQ Troop Signals Section of No.6 Commando.

Dvr. James Stewart was reported as being Wounded In Action (WIA) and later died from his wounds on the 8th June 1944, aged 32.

James was the son of William and Catherine Stewart; husband of Barbara F. Stewart (nee Thornton), of Errol. Perthshire, and was commemorated on the Bayeux Memorial (Bayeux War Cemetery) Panel 18, Column 3.
